IMMIGRATION IS READY TO HANDLE ANY PROBLEMS FROM TYPHOON HAGIBIS



11 October 2019, Pol.Maj.Gen. Weerapol Charoensiri, Commander Immigration 2 immediately assigned all Immigration Superintendents at Suvarnabhumi
and Don Muang airport used No.2 plan of flights delay causing natural disaster to direct the situation.


Pol.Maj.Gen. Weerapol also asked the officer to cooperate with all airlines  to check the accumulated number of delay passengers for evaluation. They found that the flight from Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo (Narita and Haneda) during 0900am to 0500pm of 12 October 2019 were cancelled 10 flights and schedule changed 5 flights.

Immigration immediately added officers to full check point tracks. Airport help officers were assigned to assist arrival passengers to write the right information to any arrival documents before going into check point track for fast moving. And also setting the special track for kid, older, pregnant and disable person to quicker pass. These operations were directed by Immigration Deputy Commander and Superintendent.


All operation to handle Typhoon Hagibis were assigned by Pol.Lt.Gen. Sompong Chingduang,Commissioner. He had ordered immigration officer to stand by all time. Whenever the disaster was occurred, the immigration can handled by more effectively.
