Pol.Gen.Sompong Chingdaung visited Suwannabhumi airport to solve long queue immigration

According to the protesters closed an international Hong Kong's airport on Aug.12,2019. Many flights to Hong Kong departure from Suwannabhumi airport were cancelled.Many passengers stranded there. This made long queue at immigration. Pol.Gen.Chakthip Chaijinda Commissioner-General assigned Pol.Lt.Gen Sompong Chingduang, Commissioner Immigration,to solve this problem.

He came to see the problem and visiting his immigration officer there. He assigned the policy that to convenience serving to passengers by no effect to National Security. He also assigned the officers adapt operation plan whenever there were many passengers by increase staff in all immigration check boxes.The priority box must be set for disabled person,children,pregnant woman and elderly and Thai nationality must use automatic channel for passport checking.These should do when there were emergency case at the airport. All of his policy must be evaluated in order to solve any problem and developing performance be efficiency.

Immigration Bureau had a new yearly budget to recruit new police and staff to work at airport more than 30%. This would support the policy be successful.Finally Pol.Gen. Sompong assigned all Commander and Deputy manage the operation by close up.The immigration police whose position was superintendant and up would be attend the meeting on Aug.22, 2019 for all problem discussion.
