It has begun! "The Lantern Festival, Light and Color Festival in Pak Nam City"

On January 20, 2023, at 5:30 pm, Mr. Suphamit Chinsri, Governor of Samut Prakan Province, together with Mrs. Sukritta Anukulsatukij Deputy Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand in Chachoengsao Office and Mr. Ekachai Pinkriangkrai, President of Thamkatanyu Foundation (Xie Lo Tai Tien Gong) attends the official opening of the 10th Lantern Festival of Pak Nam City "10th Lantern Festival 2023" to send a signal to Pak Nam City in Samut Prakan.


Ready to welcome tourists throughout the Chinese New Year, which this year marks the 10th anniversary of the event, where tourists can admire the beauty of over 5,000 lanterns for free for a month from January 20 to February 19, 2023.

In addition to the beauty of the lantern light, Thamkatanyu Foundation (Xian Lo Tai Tien Gong) is also open to tourists to ask for the blessing of the 5 warlord gods and write their names, correct the year of brewing, leave fortune and misfortune with the gods of Tai Sue Aia.


This year there are 7 highlight sets of lanterns, including rabbit lanterns, 5 god lanterns to bless the New Year, and Caishingia lanterns.

Fate protection, lamp set to accept the grace of Guan Yin, lamp set, fun for Thai children and more than 5,000 lanterns decorated throughout the event, described as as grand and spectacular as others for tourists to experience the colorfulness, beauty and grandeur of the lantern lights of Pak Nam and another highlight is the God of Destiny Room or Tai Tribute, 60 of them, the only one in Samut Prakan province.


The holiday atmosphere near Chinese New Year is bustling. People in Samut Prakan and the surrounding area all wore red clothes to take photos of the Thammakatanyu Foundation. Worship 5 warlord gods, 60 Tai Sue Eia gods, including Guan Yin, and come to set the brewing year as well.
